Shipping & Local Pickup Policy

 

1. Order Processing & Prep Times

Every Cozy Cookie is baked fresh to order to ensure the highest quality and signature texture.

Local Pickups: Please allow a minimum 3-hour prep window for all local orders meeting at our Eastvale community spot.

Shipped Orders: Orders requiring shipping are typically baked, packed, and shipped within 1 to 3 business days from the time the order is placed.

2. Local Pickup & Meetups (The Grace Period)

We take pride in our punctuality for local meetups at our designated Eastvale community spot (Staples Plaza) and our Farmers Market locations. However, because we are transporting fresh-baked goods, we kindly request an up to 1-hour grace period for your scheduled pickup time to account for unforeseen traffic, road closures, or transit delays. If we anticipate any significant delay, we will contact you immediately via the email or phone number provided at checkout.

3. Shipping Within California

At this time, we offer shipping exclusively within California to comply with our Class B Cottage Food Operation guidelines and to ensure our cookies arrive as fresh as possible. Once your order is handed over to the shipping carrier, you will receive a tracking number via email.

4. Transit Delays & Weather

Once a package is with the shipping carrier, transit times are completely out of our control. We are not responsible for delivery delays caused by the carrier, high-volume holiday shipping, or severe weather conditions.

5. Unattended Deliveries & Incorrect Addresses

Because our cookies are perishable, please ensure someone is available to receive the package or attend the local meetup.

• We are not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged due to being left unattended on a porch or in a mailbox.

• Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We cannot offer refunds or replacements for orders shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.

• For local meetups, if you miss your scheduled window and do not communicate with us, your order may be forfeited without a refund, as the perishable product cannot be resold.
